Jochen Eichler is a partner in the Berlin office of Eichler Kern Klein and founded our law firm in 2012. He specializes in European and German public procurement law. He advises companies and public clients comprehensively on all issues relating to public procurement law. One focus of his work is the design, implementation and support of procurement procedures, privatization projects and PPP projects. He has particular experience in the areas of infrastructure and transportation, building construction and civil engineering, energy, research, pharmaceuticals, supply and disposal and healthcare. He regularly represents clients before public procurement review bodies and courts.

Jochen Eichler studied at the Free University of Berlin and received his doctorate under Prof. Dr. Dr. Dr. h.c. Franz Jürgen Säcker. Franz Jürgen Säcker. From 2006 to 2009, he worked as a lawyer for the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in Berlin and London. There he was a member of the public commercial law (EPR) and antitrust law (ACT) practice groups. He then worked in the Berlin office of the international law firm K&L Gates LLP until the end of 2011.
