Julia Beckmann joined the public procurement law team in June 2024. She advises contracting authorities as well as candidates and tenderers on all procedural and strategic aspects of public procurement law.
Her expertise also includes organizational matters such as the definition of roles and the structuring of decision-making processes within the procurement entity or the development of standards related to the documentation of procurement procedures.
Before joining Eichler Kern Klein, she led the public procurement law team of a publicly financed entity in the educational and cultural sector. She also gained first experiences in the field of procurement law in an international law firm.
Julia Beckmann studied law at the Free University Berlin and earned an LL.M. degree with a focus on European law from University College Dublin. She completed her legal traineeship at Frankfurt Higher Regional Court, comprising a stage at the European Commission (DG EMPL).
