Thies Uchenna Ehirim joined our public procurement law team on 1 June 2026. He initially studied history and politics at the University of Heidelberg before commencing his law degree at the University of Potsdam. There, he specialised in public administration, business and local government law, with a particular focus on local government financial constitutional law and budgetary law.
During his studies and in the period between his first state examination and his legal clerkship, he worked as a legal assistant at a recruitment agency, gaining practical experience in employment law and compliance. He also worked for several years as a private tutor for law students.
As part of his legal clerkship, he completed placements at the Berlin Court of Auditors, the Berlin Public Procurement Tribunal and at our law firm. His practice focuses on public procurement law, particularly in the areas of service and IT procurement.
